Parking

We have a big, public carpark – right by the door!

At Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center, we are fortunate to have a big, video-monitored carpark in our building – all to make parking easy and convenient for you during your stay.

There is space for 500 vehicles and the parking spaces are available on a first-come-first-served basis – please note that the carpark is for public use so it is not possible for us to book a space for you in advance.

Important: The ground clearance in the garage is 2.00 m. The parking is open 24 hours a day.

Payment for parking

Payment for parking can be done through:

• vending machines in the parking area.
• Apcoa.dk within 48 hours after departure from the parking area.
• at front desks at the Tivoli Hotel & Congress Center as well as Wakeup Copenhagen Carsten Niebuhrs Gade.
• If none of above actions has been done, we will forward an invoice incl. fee.

SmartParking

The car park uses APCOA SmartParking which makes it easy for you to park. When entering the car park, you do not need to leave the car or buy a ticket. The car’s license plate is automatically registered when driving in. Before leaving the car park, you pay for the parking at one of the payment machines placed on each floor. You just need to enter your license plate to pay with your credit card. Then you can leave the car park.

As a frequent user of the car park or other APCOA Smartparkering car parks, you have the possibility to let the payment system save your information about your license plate and payment for future use. By saving your information, you do not have to enter it by every parking, which will save you extra time.

Need to leave the carpark during your stay? No problem!

If you register your license plate at the reception at check-in or before your drive out the first time on the day of arrival, you can leave the carpark as you please during your stay – at no extra cost. You just pay at the reception.

Is the carpark full?

In the unlikely event that all spaces are occupied, we recommend using one of the following options:

Apcoa parking lots on the opposite side of the hotel (Kalvebod Brygge) 
Distance from the hotel: Approx. 100 m. View on map.

Fisketorvet, Copenhagen Mall
The first two hours are free of charge then payment is required. 
Distance from the hotel: Approx. 500 m.

DGI-Byen
Access from Ingerslevgade.
Distance from the hotel: Approx. 1 km.

For guests with electric cars

We have a total of 17 TYPE 2 charging points for electric cars in our carpark. 
The charging points are located here: 

Nine on Level B, 
Eight on Level C

They are all painted green so they are easy to find. The charging stations are distributed via Clever’s charging network and can be found here – the map also shows places of nearby charging stations in case the one in the carpark is occupied.

You pay for your charging immediately through the Clever app. If you have any questions regarding the charging stations, please contact Clever Support directly on no. +45 8616 8888 or on www.clever.dk.

If your electric car is another kind than Type 2 (e.g. Tesla Type 1), you will have to bring your own converter in order to be able to use the Type 2 charger. In case you need a E.ON charging station, please see here.
